About Me
Hello, my name is Isaac Urbina. I am a graphic designer.
My passion for design began during my time at Crooms Academy of Information Technology. In my first year, I earned 3 certifications. Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Even before my formal training, I was fascinated by the principles of art and design, the golden ratio, and other foundational concepts. I feel like that whole experience taught me a lot of very practical skills. It also provided a solid foundation, which then fueled my desire to pursue a creative career.
At Orange Technical College, I'm building on that foundation by mastering practical skills. In Multimedia Design, I've learned a variety of things, such as composition skills, how to use a professional camera, sketching, the practice of public speaking, how to take criticism, and so much more. Despite the wide array of career paths this program offers, I've decided to hone in on my skill of graphic design.
In only a short time, I have been able to do so much, including the creation of a variety of logos, design layouts for marketing materials (posters, brochures and websites), and carefully manage typography to ensure effective communication concepts, layouts, and illustrations. I've also gained vast experience in branding development, print design and asset creation. I was also happy to receive a certification in Adobe Photoshop.
